My Services
My goal is to provide individualized student success coaching in a supportive, encouraging environment. Student Success Coaching consists of one-on-one educational support designed to help students and young adults uncover their unique strengths, build confidence, and develop the academic and life skills they need for long-term success. I work with students to improve organization, study skills, executive functioning, prep for the GED, explore apprenticeships, college readiness, and subject-specific learning.
Academic coaching is not counseling, psychotherapy, psychological services, legal advice, or medical treatment and should not be considered a substitute for those professional services.
Fees & Payment
Fee: My rate is $80 per hour per 60-minute session plus New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax (GRT). I do offer a sliding scale if this rate is not affordable for you.
A trial period of six sessions is required to determine whether the student and I are comfortable working together. At the end of this period, the student, parent/guardian, and I will meet to decide whether to continue services.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the full session fee. Exceptions may be made for illness, family emergencies, or severe weather.
Communication
Parents or guardians are encouraged to communicate questions or concerns at any time. Progress updates may be provided upon request or as needed to support the student's success.
I do not answer emails or calls past 7:00 pm.
No Guarantee of Results
Every student is unique, and progress depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, motivation, school expectations, and family support. While every effort will be made to help students succeed, no guarantee is made regarding grades, test scores, admission to schools or colleges, or any other academic outcome.
Confidentiality
Student information will be treated as confidential and will not be shared without parent or guardian permission except when disclosure is required by law. I am a mandatory reporter and am required to report any concerns of abuse or self-harm to the appropriate authorities. Electronic correspondence is not considered confidential.
Liability
Dan Murray is not liable for injuries, illness, accidents, loss, or damage arising from circumstances outside his reasonable control, including a student’s conduct, failure to follow instructions, travel to or from the session, or activities occurring outside the agreed tutoring area. Students are expected to follow all safety instructions and behave appropriately.
Nothing in this statement excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from the tutor’s own negligence, intentional misconduct, or violation of applicable law.
Termination of Services
Either the parent/guardian or Dan Murray Success Coaching may discontinue services at any time. Any outstanding balance for services already provided remains the responsibility of the client.
